I have been brainstorming for quite some time for a good location/backdrop for Christmas/Holiday portraits. My house is too small with very bad lighting. I’ve moved furniture, hung fabric, hung lights, etc. etc. Nothing seemed to work.

Finally I realized that this park had the perfect look and can be very versatile with props and hanging things on the wall. The lighting seemed to work this morning. My kids seemed to cooperate after bribing with treats. So with a bag of marshmallows in hand and a stroller full of christmasy stuff, I ventured out.

I am very pleased with how they turned out. I also have plans to improve the look by adding more garland, sparkley ornaments, a branch tree and tinsel, etc. I am very much looking forward to more christmas pictures and celebrating the birth of our Savior!
